PARENT PARTICIPATION |

Parent participation is one of the bones that
make up the structure of the LOGOS Ministry.
Parental participation is an essential part of
LOGOS for several reasons.
When our children and youth see us giving our
time and concerted efforts for a program devoted to them, they thrive
and they intuitively understand that it is very important.
Kids are proud to have their parents helping in
such a significant way.
Also, parental help is essential in making the
program run smoothly.
It takes many people to build relationships,
accomplish necessary tasks, and to care for each other the way Christ
would have us care.
Breaking the tasks into small jobs where no one
is overburdened is one way we treat each other as Children of God.
Asking parents to participate in serving the
youth and children and teaching them the way of discipleship is one way
we demonstrate discipleship and spread the gospel through our actions as
well as our words.

FEES AND REGISTRATION
(This cost includes meals, bible curriculum, craft materials, special
celebrations, etc.) |
|
|
|
Total cost for the year (Sept. – April) is $60.00 per child
($30.00 for preschoolers).
For families with 3 or more children it
is $60.00 each for the 1st
two children and $50.00 for each additional child. No student will be
turned away!
Financial assistance will be available
if the need is there.
We will be glad to work with you if
there is a problem or need to pay in 2 payments. |

Adult volunteers who plan on eating each Wednesday with
LOGOS will also have a fee of $60.00 for the LOGOS year.
Volunteers who do not plan on eating
each Wednesday may call the church office by the Monday before LOGOS to
make reservations to eat.
The cost per meal is $4.00.
You will pay as you arrive.

GUESTS/VISITORS |
|
|
|
Visitors are always welcome at LOGOS.
To assure that we are adequately
prepared, please call the church office by the Monday before LOGOS to
register the visitor.
The visitor’s meal will cost $4 and we
suggest that the family who invites the guest pay for the meal.
(Please give the money to the director
when you check in.) |

|
The visitor is expected to stay with
the student and participate fully in all four parts.
The visitor may return twice as a
guest, following that the visitor’s parents are asked by the LOGOS
Director if they wish for their child to join the LOGOS Ministry by
registering and making a commitment to come to LOGOS on a regular basis
each Wednesday.
Their registration fee will be
pro-rated based on the remaining time left in the LOGOS calendar year.
As visitors make a commitment to joining LOGOS we also ask that they
make a commitment in becoming regular worship members with us on Sunday
mornings.

INCLEMENT WEATHER |
|
|
|
If schools are closed for the entire day or for the
afternoon LOGOS will be canceled. (This includes teacher workdays) If in
doubt, call the church office at 706-778-2822. |
