PRESBYTERIAN WOMEN     See Parrowhotos
Dear Christian Women:
What is the Presbyterian Women's organization?  Historically, this organization began in 1912 as the Women's Auxiliary for the purpose of Bible study, fellowship and service.  The name was changed  in 1948 to Women of the Church, and then in 1988 to Presbyterian Women.  The local officers for the 2011-2012 term are:
Moderator                               Sue Smith
Secretary                                 Marina Chrisler
Treasurer                                 Sue Martin
Spiritual Advisor                     Sylvia Palmer
Missions Chairman                  Jan Barton
How do you join Presbyterian Women?  If you attend a Presbyterian church and you are a woman, you are already a member of Presbyterian Women.  You are welcome to attend all the functions of the organization, and you are eligible to serve in any office of the organization.
What do Presbyterian Women do?  Briefly, we meet monthly in small groups, called Circles, for fellowship and Bible study.  We also have functions during the year which are attended by all women even if they do not regularly attend Circle meetings.  This year we had our Birthday celebration in May, we will have a luncheon during the summer, a Thank Offering meeting, and our annual Heirloom Tea Party at Christmas.  Dates and times for these events will be publicized in our church newsletter.
Please explore our Purpose, Ministry and information about our Circles on the Links below
We invite you to join us!  For more information, please call the church office at 706-778-2822
Sincerely,
Presbyterian Women
