There are several ways to
participate in the ministry of music at First Presbyterian Church.
We welcome you to use your musical gifts for God.
Listed below are several opportunities.

Chancel
Choir - This is an adult choir that sings at the traditional
11:00 a.m. service on Sundays. Rehearsal
is every Wednesday from 6:00-7:00 p.m.
Praise
Team - This group leads in worship at the contemporary
9:00 a.m. celebration service. We
currently have a few singers and a couple of guitars.
We would love to add some more voices and instruments to this service.
Jubilate
Ringers - This is an adult hand-bell choir.
We ring several times a year during the Sunday morning worship services.
Rehearsals are Sunday afternoons from 5:00-6:00 p.m.
Other smaller ensembles also ring at various times.
Children’s
Choirs - We currently have two choirs for children.
They often sing together. They
are Kindergarten-2nd grade and 3rd-5th grades.
These groups have music time on Sunday evenings for a half hour each from
6:30-7:30 p.m. after the Agape meal. Music
time consists of singing and other musical activities. We sing several times a year in the worship services and
generally perform a musical at least once a year.
